Norfolk Community College Project to get festive in welcoming Norwich jobseekers this December

November 29, 2018

The Norfolk Community College project is hosting a festive market stall this December, inviting jobseekers to find out how the project can help them over a hot drink and a mince pie.

The project will be at the Norwich City Centre Market stall, just off Gentleman’s Walk, on 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th of December from 09:30 to 16:30.

Anybody interested is welcome to drop-in to meet the team and gain advice on employment, training and volunteering. The team can also offer advice about Universal Credit and provide money management information.

The Norfolk Community College Project is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the Big Lottery Fund, to help unemployed adults in Norfolk into training and employment.

Stuart Jennings, Norfolk Community College’s Project Lead, said: “The Norfolk Community College project is delighted to be holding a series of events in Norwich for people to learn more about our project. With a variety of opportunities to learn new skills in sectors including hospitality and leisure, constructions, retail and technology we are really pleased to help more adults in our community in to work by showcasing the variety of opportunities available.’
