An exciting opportunity has arisen at DIAL Great Yarmouth for a Disability Inclusion Worker to join our Building Better Opportunities project. Building Better Opportunities is led by East Coast College as part of a partnership and is funded by the European Social Fund.

The post holder will play a key role in the project with its aim to provide support to disadvantaged unemployed and economically inactive adults across Norfolk and help them to overcome barriers to obtaining work. These groups face considerable barriers to the labour market that impact upon their ability to access employment opportunities. The project will help them to address these, become more work-ready and move towards and into employment.

The Disability Inclusion worker will work with employers of all sizes based in East Norfolk to increase their understanding of disability, remove barriers for disabled people and those with long-term health conditions and ensure that disabled people have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
