Every month across Norfolk we run training courses and workshops to serve and support a whole variety of people with different learning goals. The Norfolk Community College is committed to providing high quality training that reflects the requirements of employers and the ambitions of participants. By developing a range of ‘Intro’ taster sessions in areas such as volunteering and care, we can help you build new skills and learn about your strengths to achieve your employment goals and aspirations. We also offer a range of key employability courses, delivering sessions that improves your Maths, English and IT skills.

Route 9- 5 Café – If you are looking for a new focus come visit our 9-5 Café in Great Yarmouth.
With guest speakers, engagement activities and specialist staff available to help you set new employment targets and find a path to achieve your personal goals, the Route 9-5 Café runs from DIAL Advice and Enterprise Hub, 26 King St, Great Yarmouth NR30 2N is available for you to rediscover your route!

Confidence, Self- esteem and Interview skills training days.
These sessions include-
– Learning the differences between confidence and self- esteem and how that can affect you.
-Talking about what can cause low confidence.
-Discussing Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.
-Looking at how we can improve our self esteem.
-Preparing for interviews.
-Non verbal communication.
-Examples of competency based interview questions.
-Overcoming interview nerves.
