Round 3 of the DPS is now open

August 30, 2017

Round 3 (the selection stage) of the DPS is now open and you can submit an application at any time until noon on 29 Sept 2017. At that point we will close Round 3 and evaluate all the applications received and those qualifying will be placed on the DPS. At this point Round 4 will open and if you have been unsuccessful or if you didn’t complete your application on time you have another opportunity to apply.

The project has already identified a range of main delivery partners, who will provide employability and advice services from hubs across Norfolk. The project now aims to engage a range of providers, including micro groups from the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector, in recognition of their skills in reaching out to people who are often below the radar of mainstream services. This specialist support will form part of the Norfolk Community College and will be procured by way of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).

Once you have been successfully admitted to the DPS, quotations for specific contracts can then be invited exclusively from all the providers admitted to the Lot for which the services are required and providers may choose whether to compete for these further competitions advertised through the DPS.

Between now and December 2019 up to £225,000 will be invested in community-led specialist provision, to support projects that improve confidence, develop skills and create jobs for people who are long term unemployed or economically inactive through the DPS.

The DPS is aimed at both small and large providers.  Some requirements will be focussed at a neighbourhood or district level; other requirements will be county-wide. The selection process will prompt you to choose a delivery focus, either neighbourhood and district (most likely aimed at smaller providers) or multiple district and county-wide (most likely aimed at larger providers).

Please use the following link to take you directly to the opportunity:

Once you have registered and expressed an interest you will then need to go to ‘My Activities’ and find the ‘Information to Bidders’ document for all the details and complete the application questions for the Lots you are interested in.

If you experience any difficulties with the registration process or have any other questions, please contact Simon O’Leary by emailing:
