On 1 August the Norfolk Community College’s team joined business leaders, local organisations and project participants from across Norfolk to officially launch its Building Better Opportunities project at East Coast College’s Ambitions Restaurant.
The event was supported by a range of services and local providers from Norfolk including the Mayor of Great Yarmouth Kerry Robinson-Payne, DWP, Norfolk Library Services, Neighbourhoods That Work, TMS media, F1 Training, Local Investment Future Talent, Herring House Trust and a number of local district councils.
With the sun beating down and plenty of nibbles and drinks for all to enjoy, guests on the day were shown how the project will equip people with the skills they need and the opportunities they value to transition into employment.
Together with the project’s training bus, the team were delighted to have the opportunity to showcase how the project will enable its community in Norfolk to realise its ambitions.
