Skills Connector and Employment Coordinator – West Norfolk- Wide

Access Community Trust are looking for people who are highly motivated, compassionate and person-centred to join our Building Better Opportunities programmes, the Norfolk Community College project. The Norfolk Community College project is jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund.

Our project works with local communities so that adults who are furthest away from the labour market can overcome barriers preventing their involvement in further education, training and employment. This programme aims to make positive contribution to New Anglia LEPs objective to promote social inclusion and combat poverty. To support delivery of the project we are now recruiting for the following positions:

Skills Connector West Norfolk (1 full-time post)

Base: Access Community Trust -Thetford, covering Norfolk

Hours: 37hrs per week.

Salary: £25,000

Employment Coordinator West Norfolk (1 Part Time post)

Base: Access Community Trust – Thetford, covering Norfolk.

Hours: 18hrs per week.

Salary: £12,162.18 Actual Pay

The Skills Connector post will provide intense and personalised employability support to long term unemployed and economically inactive adults, equipping them with the skills necessary to undertake training and access sustainable job opportunities within the local labour market.

The Employment Coordinator will project lead the Access Community Trust element of the Norfolk Community College consortium of partners, taking responsibility for line management of three Skills Connectors ensuring full compliance of ESF & Big Lottery guidelines.
