Norfolk Community College offers a wide range of training opportunities, and aims to accommodate to each participants needs, skills and prospective employment industries. Below is a list of a current training providers, which have partnered with the project to offer as much individual support and guidance as possible:
1.Training Provider: NCLS
What’s on offer: English and Maths courses, GCSE courses, Business, Accountancy and ICT.
NCLS says: “Whatever your goals, whatever your situation, we have the course you need to succeed. From gaining the right qualifications to learning new skills- and even starting a new career.”
2. Training Provider: WEA
What’s on offer: ICT courses, Teaching Assistant courses, and Universal Credit training.
WEA says: “At the WEA we work in partnership with hundreds of community organisations, employers and trade unions across England and Scotland -delivering adult education ‘within reach’ of local communities. The WEA pathways have been developed as our new partner programme offering a range of courses tailored to suit you.”
3. Training Provider: Qube Training
What’s on offer: ICT courses, CSCS, Forklift (via ECD, Health and safety, and warehousing
Qube says: “With over sixteen years’ experience in the education sector, we are an Ofsted grade 2 training provider that specialises in vocational courses, short courses and e-learning. We pride ourselves on working with recognisable brand.”
4. Training Provider: East Coast Driver Training
What’s on offer: Driver training – various vehicles
East Coast Driver Training says: “East Coast Driver Training is an RTITB nationally accredited forklift training centre.We offer Novice, Experienced, Refresher and Conversion training on various types of trucks.”
5. Training Provider: NWES
What’s on offer: First steps to start up, marketing strategy, bookkeeping and taxation
NWES says: “Established in 1982, Nwes is one of the largest not-for-profit enterprise agencies in the UK. We provide total business support, boost self-employment and encourage enterprise.”
