On Wednesday the 17th November 2021, Norfolk Community College attended The Jobs Fair event at Great Yarmouth Town Hall to promote assistance to those who are seeking new employment. This event ran from 10am until 1pm and received amazing responses from the community in attendance and feedback.
Tasty treats were offered to the attendees as we got to know each individual better. There we met people of all ages and backgrounds seeking jobs whether they would be starting their journey in the working world, looking to get back in to work after being off for some time, or even just looking for an entirely new career path.
To make sure we were getting the most out of our time at the fair we also placed several ongoing job vacancies on the boards for everyone to see. This turned out to be a great success as attendees were taking photos and writing notes showing interest to the cause and what is offered to them.
If you are interested you can find the same vacancies and more here: https://www.eastcoast.ac.uk/our-current-vacancies/
Thank you to our Employment and Training Co-ordinator team’s Tim Inger and Joleen Azevedo from ECC for their exceptionally hard work, as well as everyone who came to the jobs fair and spoke to us on the day. We had a great time and hope to attend more events like these soon.
