We wanted to let you know that we will do everything we can to support you through this difficult and unprecedented times. We are aware of how unsettling and worrying the current situation across the country is for people and we are working hard to maintain the best service we can for you.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, it has become clear that it is not possible to hold face to face meetings. We want to continue to be by your side with support and advice, but we know that is going to be difficult in these really challenging times. We are currently exploring alternative ways that we can continues to help you and our community. These include telephone calls, social media, postal methods and our website.
Your Norfolk Community College worker will be in touch with you soon to talk about how this might happen with regards to future workshops and support.
Indeed, at a time when we are all required to adapt our approach to working with clients we invite you to get in touch if there is any activity that you feel might benefit from our collaboration or sharing of information.
With that said, there is still hope for all our participants who are looking for work, with a record number of jobs becoming available in supermarkets across the region and Bernard Matthews. There is also likely to be demand from farmers for fruit and vegetable pickers, as the source of their usual workforce is unavailable. Please do ask your worker if you want help with finding these jobs or completing application forms.
We will also be posting some information and tips on how to manage anxiety and keep positive on our social media channels so do feel free to follow us on Facebook and Twitter if you use them, our addresses are below.
We look forward to continuing to support you.
