Access to Engineering/Mechanics
The Norfolk Community College project in partnership with ACE training are pleased to announce a new ‘Access to Engineering/Mechanics’ course’. Running over 6 sessions, the course is aimed at those looking for entry into the Motor Vehicle Engineering/Mechanics Industry.
The course will give each participant an introduction to the skills needed to gain employment in the Motor Vehicle industry, with support to explore the option of moving on to further training.
You will receive vocational training in an industrial workshop setting and be offered the opportunity to visit employer premises or places of work.
The course is designed to explore entry level jobs in engineering and the motor vehicle industry, providing hands-on experience in the field. You will also be given the opportunity to meet employees in the Motor Vehicle industry to discuss the sector in greater depth.
The course will also offer you with support to apply for further training, related courses or for employment opportunities within the sector.
Course start date: Friday 4th January 2019 followed by following Friday’s 11th, 18th, 25th, 01st & 8th February 2019.
