The Norfolk Community College Project is recruiting!

Skills Connector – Norfolk- Wide

Voluntary Norfolk and Access Community Trust are looking for people who are highly motivated, compassionate and person-centred to join our Building Better Opportunities programmes, the Norfolk Community College project. The Norfolk Community College project is jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund.

Our project works with local communities so that adults who are furthest away from the labour market can overcome barriers preventing their involvement in further education, training and employment. This programme aims to make positive contribution to New Anglia LEPs objective to promote social inclusion and combat poverty. To support delivery of the project we are now recruiting for the following positions:

Skills Connector East Norfolk (1 part-time post)
Base: Voluntary Norfolk – Norwich.
Hours: 22.5hrs per week.
Salary: £22,401 (pro rata)

Skills Connector
East Norfolk (1 full-time post)
Base: Voluntary Norfolk – Norwich.
Hours: 37hrs per week.
Salary: £22,401

Skills Connector West Norfolk (1 full-time post)

Base: Access Community Trust -Thetford.

Hours: 37hrs per week.

Salary: £25,000

Skills Connector West Norfolk (1 full-time post)
Base: Access Community Trust – Thetford, covering Kings Lynn.
Hours: 18.5hrs per week.
Salary: £25,000 (pro rata)

These posts will provide intense and personalised employability support to long term unemployed and economically inactive adults, equipping them with the skills necessary to undertake training and access sustainable job opportunities within the local labour market.

Closing Date: Monday 26th November 2018 12.00, midday

Interview Date: Friday 30th November 2018
